Masky's POV

I woke up and my vision was blurry. I rubbed my eyes, trying to get my vision back and was hit with a massive headache. I groaned in pain and rubbed my head. It felt like there was something wrapped around it. My vision came back but the pain in my head was still there. "What the hell happened?" I asked myself. "Someone tried to kill you." I hear someone say. I look over and see Slenderman. "Welcome back to the land of the living." he said. "Hey Slender. What happened-OW!" A whole wave of pain shot through my whole head when my hand reached a certain spot. "You shouldn't touch that spot on your head, you'll make it worse." he said. "What happened?" I repeated. "I found you with a gash in your head and in a pool of your own blood." "What? How long have I been out?" "A week." "A week?!" Once he said that the first thing that popped up in my mind was (Name). She's probably worried as hell about me. "Yes, who ever attacked you meant to kill you and probably think they have. What's the last thing you remember?" "I remember running into Red....and then everything went black." "Strangled Red?" "Yeah. He said something about meeting a girl and taking out the competition." "Hmm I wonder what he meant. Well the important thing is your alright, and I didn't lose my proxy."

I wasn't really paying attention. All I could think about was (Name). "Masky. Masky. Masky!" "Huh, uh what?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him. "Is something else bothering you?" "N-No I was just thinking." "Masky you may be my proxy, but your also my friend. Now what's going on." 'I knew I would have to tell him sooner or later.' "Well....a couple years ago I met this girl. I started seeing her and we became friends. After a while I...." "You grew feelings for her?" I nodded. There was an awkward silence until he finally broke it. "Wait you said Red met a girl and that he said something about taking out the competition right?" "That's what I remember." "Do you think it's possible that the girl he was talking about is the girl you've seeing?" I thought about it for a moment, then my eyes widen in realization. "That son of a bitch! He tried to kill me just so he could get to (Name)!" I jumped out of the bed I was on but Slender stopped me. "Masky, your too weak to leave. You wouldn't survive in a fight against him. If what you say is true then he might already taken her. I understand if you want to get her back but its best if you let me handle it." I wanted to argue, but he had a point. Red put a huge gash in my head so I can imagine what he'll do to me when I'm this weak. "Alright. Just don't hurt her." "I won't." And he was gone. Teleported to who knows where. Now I was alone, with (Name) being the only thing I could think about.
